21 Bitcoin
The artwork went through a plethora of iterations, experimentations, explorations, different animations, different styles and different momentums.
Initial idea
The original concept involved static cubes that rotated, facilitating the movement of a coin between "Warp cubes" – cubes designed to teleport the coin from start to finish. However, this approach lacked the desired dynamism and was subsequently reconsidered.
Second iteration
In the second iteration, the coin traverses a designated track, with the camera employing a track-to modifier to follow its movement. Primitives move horizontally, appearing and disappearing on screen, but the execution feels notably erratic and lacks smoothness, doesn't it?
The final iteration has hundreds of finely tuned unique objects moving horizontally and scaling in and out in sequence.
Ultimately, I opted for a static design wherein the coin rolls in place while the environment moves beneath it. This required the creation of a track for the coin to follow, synchronizing the movement of the track with that of the primitives.
By keeping the camera stationary and allowing the primitives and track to move, the subject remains consistently centered, providing a visually pleasing effect as it shifts from right to left.
To achieve this lighting effect, the primitives are being lit by large area lights located directly below the animation, which are stationary. The lighting is even and uniform.

The concept behind this piece was to incorporate a warp block that seamlessly transforms the Eurocoin into a Bitcoin. The viewer is invited to observe this enchanting transition through the semi-transparent block, revealing the fascinating metamorphosis.
Trade on your terms
The purpose of this piece was to showcase the simplicity of buying and trading Bitcoin, seamlessly integrating an iPhone mockup into the existing website style.
Impact
The website is presently in the developmental stages with Fior Digital's team. Stay tuned for updates on www.21bitcoin.com. I'm eager to witness the outcome of the project and see if the transparent, cool, and modern style resonates more with potential clients compared to their existing dark theme.
